Your pathway to respiratory health

1

Consultation

Consultations last around 30 minutes and involve taking a through clinical history and examination to help identify a potential cause of your symptoms.

We will discuss initial tests and identify a timeframe in which these can be done.

I want to know what you expect and what has been bothering you.

Together we will make a plan about how to move forward.

2

Diagnosis

Before I establish a diagnosis, you may require some tests relevant to your symptoms. Some of these can be done on the same day (blood tests, chest x-ray) and others will need to be booked for a later date (lung function, CT scans).

Rest assured you will be informed of all test dates and times and when the results are available.

Our patient portal means you always have access to your information when you want it.

3

Management

Once a diagnosis is reached, you may require treatment. Some conditions require specific treatment and others require nothing. It isn’t always about taking medication.

I will discuss any indicated treatment with you in detail and inform you of important benefits as well as risks.

We will make plans to follow things up when it suits you.

To ensure long-term care of your medical condition, we always inform your general practitioner of ongoing issues and new medication

Regardless of the location you can be reassured that you will receive a warm welcome at a world class central London hospital.

Whether you need an intiail consultation for a new symptom or a review of a persisting issue, I am here to help.
